FAQ
Common questions
Do I need to install an app?
No. Resuma is a WhatsApp number. You chat with it like any other contact, with no website sign-up and no new app.
Do you keep my audio or transcripts?
No. The audio is processed in memory and discarded as soon as the reply is delivered. The summary and transcript aren’t stored either: once sent, they exist only in your WhatsApp. We keep only each voice note’s length and time, to count your minutes.
Can I find an old voice note later?
Yes, with WhatsApp search. Since the summary and transcript arrive as text, just type something that was said, like a name, an amount or an address. Search brings up Resuma’s reply, which quotes the original voice note. That copy is yours alone: nothing is kept on our side.
Which languages does it support?
The transcript comes in the language the audio was spoken in. The subject and key points come in Brazilian Portuguese, European Portuguese or English. Send language to switch.
How are minutes counted?
Each answered voice note uses its own length, rounded up to the second. Rejected, failed or speechless audio uses nothing. Minutes renew every month and don’t roll over. When less than 10% of your plan is left, the reply tells you how much remains.
What if a voice note is longer than my plan allows?
Resuma tells you before processing, uses nothing, and names the plan that accepts that voice note. The largest accepted is 20 minutes or 16 MB, on the Max plan.
Does it work in groups?
Resuma doesn’t join groups. To summarize a voice note from a group, forward it to your chat with Resuma.
How do I pay and cancel?
By card or Pix, through Stripe’s secure checkout. Card plans renew automatically; with Pix, Resuma sends a new code a few days before each renewal. To cancel, send cancel: the plan runs until the end of the paid period and doesn’t renew.
How do I delete my data?
Send delete and confirm. We remove your account, preferences and usage history. Any active plan is cancelled, without a refund for the current period.
